Ann ArborUniversal Marketing Group LLC is a sales-oriented call center that services the infomercial industry. The company is investing $568,662 for a new call center in Ann Arbor, MI. The project will create up to 411 new jobs in a wide range of areas, including call center, human resources, IT, sales, and technical staff.

Grand RapidsFirstronic, a high-tech manufacturer serving a variety of industries, is investing $2.45 million to renovate its manufacturing center in Grand Rapids, MI. The firm plans to create 110 new jobs, hiring a wide range of talent. Positions range from engineers and technicians, to entry-level assembly operators and skilled hand solders’.

HollandMagna Mirrors of America, Inc., of the Magna Corporation, is investing and growing in Holland, MI. The Company, which manufactures mirrors and electronic vision systems for the auto industry, will be investing $11 million in two of its three plants, and plans to add 50 new jobs. These jobs range from technical to supervisory positions, and pay will range from $10 to $30 per hour, depending on skill, education, and experience.

MacombTriumph Gear Systems-Macomb, Inc., a subsidiary of Triumph Group, Inc., is expanding its facility in Macomb Township. TGSM is a manufacturer and supplier of complex gear assemblies, detail gears, and a range of components that service the aerospace industry. The company plans to invest up to $15.2 million in Macomb Township. An investment that will create 60 new jobs.

MuskegonDowntown Muskegon Development Co. plans to move the existing Muskegon Farmer’s Market to a new location in the downtown area of Muskegon. The $4 million project will see the construction of two new all-season buildings, outdoor seasonal vending space, and on-site parking. The project is expected to create four new full-time jobs.

RosevilleRenu Wireless USA LLC is a provider of large scale wireless re-manufacturing and refurbishing service for smart-phones and other devices. They plan to invest nearly $5.3 million in a new communications re-manufacturing operation in Roseville, MI. The project will create up to 228 new jobs in the area.

WixomKiekert AG, a German-based supplier of automotive components, plans to invest $2 million in expanding their production facilities in Wixom, MI. With annual sales projected to triple over the next three years, Kiekert plans to add over 40 new positions at their Wixom plant and U.S. headquarters over the next 12 months.

WyandotteHotel Sterling II, LLC plans to renovate and convert a vacant former Sears building in the City of Wyandotte, MI. The project, which will convert the building into a 21-room hotel, conference, and banquet facility, is anticipated to result in a $2.5 million investment and the creation of three new full-time jobs.
