Local Job Opportunities: Michigan Companies Hiring More Employees Soon

Corporate growth and job creation continues to be strong late into the month of October. Michigan has a history of leading the nation in manufacturing, and top manufacturers – among other businesses – seem to be attracted to the growing economic climate in the state once again. Multiple businesses across Michigan are expanding operations and will be offering a variety of different job positions in the coming months.

Check out these expanding companies that may have positions opening up near you.

Detroit – Comprehensive Logistics Co. is investing $18.1 million for new facilities in Detroit, MI. The firm is planning to a build a new logistics facility that will create 350 new jobs. CLC is a third-party logistics provider.

HollandCharter House Innovations will be expanding their existing design and manufacturing operations in Holland Charter Township. The West Michigan-based company designs and manufactures  seating and décor, and has invested $3 million into a new facility. The expansion will create at least 50 new jobs.

NorthvilleAisin Technical Center of America, a subsidiary of Japan-based Aisin Seiki, is investing $32.7 million to purchase a new building in Northville Charter Township. The project will expand the companies existing operations and create 151 new jobs. Positions range from sales and design, to the testing and development of automotive components.

PittsfieldNavitas Systems LLC is relocating to a new facility in Pittsfield Charter Township, and will invest $9.3 million to expand its operations there. The company offers energy-enabled system solutions, energy storage products, and power electronics for commercial, governmental, and industrial customers. The expansion in Pittsfield  will create 125 new high-paying jobs related to storage battery manufacturing.
